How to become an Amgros supplier

At Amgros, we're dedicated to making it as easy and attractive as possible to be a supplier to the Danish public hospitals and hearing clinics. This page contains information on how your company can become an Amgros supplier.

Amgros procures pharmaceuticals and hearing aids used by Danish public hospitals and hearing clinics.

HOW YOUR PRODUCT ENTERS THE PUBLIC HOSPITALS

Your gateway to the Danish public hospitals depends on the stage of your pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical lifecycle. Is it a new patented drug? Or is it a generic product subject to fierce competition? Read more about the pharmaceutical lifecycle on this page.

NEW PHARMACEUTICALS

In Denmark, the Medicines Council assesses whether a new drug should be recommended as standard treatment.

Read more about applications to the Medicines Council at the Danish Medicines Council website (in Danish).

If you're a supplier, note that the application procedure may extend over a lengthy period. Read more about the procedure for new pharmaceuticals here.

GENERIC PHARMACEUTICALS

If your company wants to sell a product to the public Danish hospitals your gateway  will be the tendering procedures conducted by Amgros on behalf of Danish Regions.

Our tendering procedures are regulated by the EU Public Procurement Directive, and the Danish Public Procurement Act (udbudslov). In most cases, we invite tenders for one-year contracts, usually commencing on 1 April.

Before your company can submit a tender, you have to set up a user profile on our supplier portal. See below.

CREATE A USER PROFILE ON THE AMGROS SUPPLIER PORTAL

In order to become a supplier of pharmaceuticals to Amgros, your company must be registered as a user on our supplier portal. A user profile on the supplier portal not only allows you to submit bids for tenders; it also gives you access to Q&As relating to the ESPD and ESPD documentation.

If you and your company have not yet set up a user profile on our supplier portal, you can easily do so by clicking one of these links:

If your company is registered in Denmark, click here to create a user profile.

If your company is registered outside Denmark, click here to create a user profile.

Once you have been set up as a user, there is help on how to use the portal in our user guide (in Danish).

HEARING AIDS

We want to ensure fair and uniform treatment for all interested tenderers.

We carry out our tendering procedures in accordance with the Danish Act on Tendering Procedures and publish our Tenders on our website and on the tender portal of EU.

If you would like access to Amgros' tendering procedures for medical devices, including hearing aids, you can register as a user on our external CTM system: https://eu.eu-supply.com/login.asp
