In Q1 of 2024, the hospital pharmacies in regions procured medicines via Amgros costing almost DKK 2.1 billion. This is an increase of approx. DKK 217 mill. compared with the same period last year.
Turnover for the past 12 months was around DKK 9.635 billion; an increase of 4%.
At the same time, the quantities procured increased by approx. 1%. Therefore, the average price per DDD procured over the past 12 months also increased.
Procurements of medicines to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases in particular have driven developments in total procurements of medicines in the hospital sector.
