Together with the hospital pharmacies, Amgros has historically been responsible for ensuring the supply of medicines to public hospitals in Denmark. This means that being a small country, we cannot handle every task on our own.
We need a closer collaboration with our Nordic neighbours and the rest of Europe to solve shared challenges.
Treatments are moving from hospitals and closer to citizen's homes. Here, Amgros also contributes by securing better prices and a more coherent supply in the primary sector.
Amgros, together with other healthcare actors, must ensure an efficient supply system, create
conditions for more health, and act as an international role model in supplying the healthcare sector of
the future. To achieve this, we must continuously develop and adapt our organisation in line with
changes in the healthcare sector, the society and not least within the EU. In the near future, we have
chosen to focus on three areas:
By 2030, Amgros has become an even more central driving force in the efficient supply of hearing aids,
medicines and medicine-related solutions to the Danish healthcare system.
2030 is not an end point, but a milestone on our journey.
